The Bamburgh Research Project is an archaeological project set up in 1996 to investigate the history of Bamburgh through a systematic archaeological investigation of the Castle and its environs.

Get Involved!

The 2008 excavation season runs June, July, and August. If you would like to get involved to gain excavation experience or learn more about the site you are welcome to attend our annual training school. Please visit the Get Involved section of this web site for information and dates.
